The cheapest way to ship furniture (which could be considered the best way to ship furniture by some) is to box or crate it and ship it.
You prepare the furniture by wrapping it in at least two layers of bubble wrap. You’ll save on preparation cost, but keep in mind that it will take a lot of time (and bubble wrap!) to wrap the furniture. BENCO SHIPPING will work with you to determine the best and cheapest way to ship furniture following your needs.
Small, long distance moves are usually priced based on weight and distance. We can accurately estimate the weight of your items based on dimensions.
Larger long distance moves are usually priced based on volume, that is, linear or cubic feet. We can accurately estimate the volume based on the dimensions of the items being shipped. As with any move, we will want to discuss this with you, and we may recommend an on-site estimate.
There are no hidden fuel or travel surcharges for any type of move.
Small moves, freight shipments and international shipments: Payment is due when the shipment is booked with BENCO SHIPPING. We accept checks and Visa, Mastercard.
Long-distance (full household) moves: Payment options depend on the type of service. A BENCO SHIPPING long-distance move specialist will explain your options.
You can cancel a move or shipment at anytime before pickup is made. Contact BENCO SHIPPING directly to do so. A cancellation fee may be incurred.
In most cases, yes you can insure items for their replacement value. Certain items like large screen plasma displays and LCD TV sets and monitors can only be insured for loss or disappearance. Please call and discuss your specific questions with one of our specialists. We will work with you to find the best option for your shipping and moving needs.
